Input from a PDF

Is there a way of inputting a PDF containing a table directly into EDT, without the need to transform the PDF into Excel?

if the PDF has undergo OCR it might be possible to use copy&paste

Easy Data Transform is currently not able to directly read data from PDF files.

It is something we would love to add, but it is a very difficult problem to solve, as you are basically having to do optical character recognition.

Here is a useful tip if you only have an image of your data table and you have Excel: Copy an image of the table into the clipboard. In the Excel Data tab select: Get Data>From Other Sources>From Picture>Picture from clipboard. [image] We have had a play with in and it seems to work fairly well.
