Totaling us items in a column

Hi, This is can I do either or question. Any ​of these solutions would work for me.

  1. I have a column that has 5 YES and 7 NO. Is there a way to add up how many YES are in the column and put the total of 5 at the bottom of that column?

  2. I have a column that has 500 YES in it. Is there a way to have the 500 display at the bottom of that column?

I know I can filter but I need the total number in the spot so I can import the sheets data into MS publisher.

There are a few different ways you can count the number of ‘YES’ records.

See attached.

You could also:

  • Use Replace to replace “YES” with “1”.
  • Use Stats to Sum the column
  • Use Replace to replace “1” with “Yes”
