There is a new v1.13.1 snapshot release here:

In this release the Sort transform has been significantly speed up for sorting by date and numeric columns. For a 500k row test dataset it is 20x faster for sorting by dates and 2x faster for sorting by numeric values.

This release is made available for customers to give feedback on. It has not been tested as heavily as a production release, but it should be fairly stable. Please reply to this thread if you have any feedback.

I think its faster, but I didn’t run one of my massive EDT files and time it before upgrading. The good news is that I don’t see any problems.
