This snapshot release contains some improvements and bug fixes to the previous v2.14.0 snapshot release:

  • The Folder To Input window layout has been improved on Mac.
  • The Folder To Input window now updates continuously during List Matches. Thanks @MarsKy for feedback on this.
  • Excel sheet name matching is now case insensitive . Thanks @MarsKy for feedback on this.
  • Meta Information is now added after any Schema version. This fixes some issues. It might cause a change in output if you are Schema versioning on a Meta Information column. Thanks to @Olaf for feedback on this.
  • When you drag a folder or file onto Easy Data Transform, it is released immediately, rather than waiting for input to complete. This avoids Windows Explorer or Mac Finder ‘freezing’.

As a snapshot release, it isn’t as thoroughly tested as a production release, but it should be fairly stable.

Works for me. I like the way the file list gets populated as-and-when the files are found - helpful if you have a big list of files and want an indicator on the status of import. The alternative was looking at an hour glass and an empty list for some time.
One thing I noticed is that re-using “Input from Folder”, it seems to remember the Folder at a level up from the previously chosen Folder?
