Search Functionality

Hi,

I have a quite big transformation file with different evaluations and branches in it (I assume more than 100 transformation boxes in it). I use notes to comment the logic within the branches. When I now need to adapt something it is hard to find the right branch. In the overall view you cannot read anything any more, if I zoom in it hard to find the right stuff either. Is it possible to add a search functionality to find terms/strings in the notes or even in the output file names?
Thanks,
Olaf

It is certainly a possibility. Perhaps by highlighting or selecting any items that contain the string typed in a search box.

Zooming is also a possibility, but probably wouldn’t work as well:

  • there might be multiple matches on opposite sides of the screen
  • you would lose context when you zoom

Note that you can hover over items when zoomed back to see tooltips.

Hi Andy,

works nicely.

Just one hint the information on shortcuts is wrong on Mac.

On Mac it is COMMAND-F, but I see it is the same wrong presentation for other shortcuts, too.

@Olaf Ok, thanks. I should be able to fix that for the production release.

Now fixed. Fix will be in the production release.

faster than light
