I am in the technical publishing field and typically convert XML to fully-formatted PDFs. EDT has been a great tool for converting client data from Excel, delimited files, etc., to XML. Then I stylize the XML using Adobe FrameMaker or InDesign.
I am now using an application called Miramo that converts XML directly to PDF using their own MiramoXML. I will use an XSLT processor to convert the XML from EDT to MiramoXML, then the Miramo composer is used to produce the fully-formatted PDF.
Most of the content I produce is proprietary so I am looking for some data that I can use for demos. I would need data (Excel, etc.) that could be used in video and in-person demos. I also need examples of the PDF output that you are looking for. In exchange, I will provide you with the code I am using for the converstion. Note that Miramo is a paid product.
