New col, not replace $(value)

The actual version from EDT not Replace the value from new col.

I want to make new col, with a $(value) but EDT doesn’t Replace the value.

There is in the Inside only: “$(value)”

Have I to insert it, not only to create it, width the $(value)?

If you want to create a new column with a value from an existing column you should use COPY COLS or in case you want it should be fill under conditions use the IF transformation, there you can use in the THEN and ELSE condition $(value)
