I like to be able to specify the column header when using the “At every row” option for the Meta info.
Another nice-to-have option would be to place it in the front (1 first column)
I’m not sure what you mean. Can you give me a simple example of what a dataset would look like before and after?
Currently new columns are always added at the end, by convention. Changing that would be a lot of work for minimal benefit (IMO) so is unlikely. You can just add a Reorder Cols transform.
I like to be able to define the column name within the input block instead of having to rename the column immediately afterwards. For the input datasets (file or clipboard) you can set the “Meta info”. The current behavior is if the column header is of this setting will be “Meta Info” if has column header row is checked, otherwise it is the column number if not checked.
Actually, there are several transforms where I wish I could config the resulting column name. Right now, I place Rename Cols at strategic locations.

It is also on the wishlist to allow column rename for the following transforms:
- Count
- Compare
- Concat Cols
- Lookup
- Row Num
- Total
