To avoid hassle if, following a change in the transform definition, some of the structure is lost, one could select ‘freeze’ and the system would write out a file (transformname)(time) (date) .transform to the working folder.
So in the event of some alteration trashing a node it could be recovered easily, Yes, I know this could be dome manually, but it seems a simple change to effect an efficient useful safety feature/
Yes, that would work very well. I have a lot of longish IF and FILTER nodes and it was tedious if they got lost (although I was never sure which operation took them out…).
That would be a good addition IMHO to the next ‘big number’ update.
