Read in a 5100 line json file which was loaded as ‘wide’. After changing this to ‘long’ the machine CPU rose to 40%, mem to 31Gb and disc to 100% before the machine froze.
Query is whether there is a limit on json file sizes.
The problem is probably the hierarchical depth of the JSON. A relatively small JSON file with a deep hierarchy can result in a really massize data table. Feel free to email me the JSON file, so I can investigate in more detail.
