Thank you @Admin! I have the feeling this version is even faster than the previous one. It is so fast that I drop xlsx directly in EDT and no more in excel for some tasks. Thank you!
Benchmark timings for v1.45.0 and v1.44.0 are very similar. How fast we can input and output Excel is mostly due to the third party libary we use to read and write Excel files (libXL).
We have some ideas for big performance increases in v2.
