I have a column with tonnes of characters (dates for a year) , EDT is able to use it for calculations but doesn’t show it in preview window

The first few values in the OUTPUT column are empty, so that is what the preview shows:
I guess we could show a few more values in the preview if the first few are empty. I will think about it.

This is embarrassing , I was under impression , that the column was not visible , then I found my window was not maximised properly 
Curious case dismissed.

It gave me an idea about a small improvement to the column preview. ;0)
