I’ve been thinking about way to re-arrange transform diagrams to aid presentation / documentation in larger diagrams. One way, rather than have links joining blocks of transforms, might be to have a ‘connector’

So at the “from” connector (say a circle) you assign a value, say ‘8’. Then at some other place you have a “to” connector with number 8. This replaces the link stretching from one to the other… these get jumbled up and can get hard to follow. Conceptually it’s like clone’ cut in two.

Internally, it might not change significantly … it’s really a visual presentation.

While this would allow you to have fewer line crossings, it would also make the flow a little harder to follow. I will make a note of it, but there are a lot of other things we would like to do first.
