"Concat Cols" feature to drop used columns

Hi

It may useful to have a checkbox in the “Concat Cols” which says “Remove original columns” to only keep the new column.?

That would cut out a transform. But we have tried to avoid transforms that both add and remove columns, as it adds a lot of complexity to the tracking of columns through the flow graph - which is probably the most the complicated aspect of Easy Data Transform. You could also argue that adding and removing columns in a single transform makes it less obvious what is going on.

That makes sense looking at it that way. I had more seen it as a merging of columns.
I do like to be able to delete a transform in the middle, so that is more important :slight_smile:
