Click on column [column values display], choose option

Hi, I’m not sure if this functionality is currently available, but it would be really useful—especially in data cleaning—to be able to click on a metric (such as unique values) and immediately see where they are or what they are. Just something to consider!

Regards,

Miguel

Are you aware of the column profiling? You can get a lot of information there.

Yes, I do. The requested functionality should allow users to click on the metric value column (e.g., unique values). When a unique value occurrence is detected, clicking on the metric should either display the corresponding unique value rows or provide metadata indicating which rows contain that value."

You can do that already in Count. Check Allow drilldown then double click on a distinct value.

I guess we could add the same feature to the Column values window.

BTW:

Unique value - occurs exactly 1 time in a column.
Distinct value - occurs 1 or more times in a column.

It will be great to have it in the Column Values,

You can now double-click on many of the metrics in the Column Values window to drill-down and see these values in context.

Including duplicates:

And max/min frequency values:

This will be in the next release.
